Hanne LeCount is the Senior Director of Partnerships and serves on Concordia’s senior leadership team, through which she drives impact and strategic growth for the organization and Partners alike. As Senior Director, she leads Concordia’s Membership, Programming Partnership, and Sponsorship relationships, ensuring that Concordia’s year-round work connects back to its mission of building cross-sector partnerships for market-based solutions. She also led Concordia’s P3 Impact Award together with the University of Virginia Darden School Institute for Business in Society and the U.S. Department of State Secretary’s Office of Global Partnerships honoring best practices of impactful public-private partnerships (P3s), in addition to establishing the Concordia Action Alliance and Action Fund, which catalyzes partnerships in natural disasters and global health responses. Hanne regularly represents the organization publicly and contributes to global coalition building having hosted high-level convenings across the U.S., Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Europe.

Hanne joined Concordia in 2016 as the Director of Social Impact, where she implemented the organization’s Campaign Against Labor Trafficking and the Campaign for a Sustainable Global Food Supply. She later became its Senior Director of Partnership Development, leveraging Concordia’s year-round programming, partnership-oriented research, and global network to develop cross-sector collaboration that combats global challenges to achieve positive social impact. Prior to joining Concordia, Hanne worked with the U.S. Institute of Peace and its PeaceTech Lab, where she drove strategic initiatives and partnership building within the peacebuilding space through her support of the 2014 U.S. National Defense Panel and several of the Institute’s senior working groups. Additional professional experience includes internships at the State Department, the European Parliament, and the Council on Foreign Relations.

Hanne earned her Master of Arts degree from Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service, where she focused on the nexus of diplomacy and defense in the transatlantic relationship. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Truman State University (Kirksville, MO) and a certificate from the University of Pennsylvania’s Executive Program in Social Impact Strategy. She is a member of the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition’s Colorado Advisory Committee and previously served on the Board of Directors for the Posner Center for International Development. She is an alumna of the Aspen Institute Socrates program and the U.S.-Taiwan Business Council 2024 exchange, and has served as a multiyear guest lecturer for the NATO Center of Excellence Defence Against Terrorism in Ankara, Turkiye.
