Description
Transatlantic relations enjoy a long-standing history, largely underpinned by shared values and common interests, and have come to play a pivotal role in shaping global politics and addressing pressing issues. Though cooperation between the two key regions is robust, ranging from military/strategic assurances to commercial agreements and beyond, the current international landscape presents some of the most significant challenges since the post-Cold war era. As such, this timely panel will explore the key institutions, such as NATO, the European Union, and their strategic allies that facilitate transatlantic cohesion and will evaluate their growing role in responding to contemporary challenges.
