As healthcare systems around the world face unprecedented challenges, efforts stand at the forefront to bolster healthcare infrastructure and access to care. This session will focus on comprehensive efforts to enhance healthcare systems in Guyana. These efforts include strategies such as community centered care, workforce development, data protection, and policy enhancements. The goal is to advance critical areas such as primary care delivery, quality improvement, health workforce analysis and training, digital health infrastructure, and legislative reforms. Additionally, the session aims to foster collaborative partnerships to expand healthcare access, especially for children and adolescents. How can healthcare organizations effectively prioritize and implement multifaceted strategies in diverse global contexts such as Guyana? How can collaborative partnerships between health systems, academic institutions, public and private partners, and local communities contribute to long-term improvements in healthcare access and outcomes? What are the key challenges and potential solutions in creating sustainable local grantmaking pools to advance critical healthcare sectors?
