                                                    Graham Macmillan is a social impact leader and a champion for advancing economic opportunity and entrepreneurship through philanthropy and investment.   
As the president of Visa Foundation, Graham develops and executes the Foundation’s impact investing and grantmaking strategy in support of its mission to help underserved micro and small businesses around the world thrive and prosper. In addition, Graham oversees all of the Foundation’s activities addressing broader community needs and humanitarian response.
Graham brings 25 years of experience leading purpose-driven work in the private and public sector with global institutions. Before joining Visa Foundation, he was the Senior Program Officer for Mission Investments at the Ford Foundation. Prior to the Ford Foundation, Graham was Director of Corporate Citizen Partnerships at Citi, partnering with business units to build Citi’s reputation and contributions to economic progress.
He serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Village Capital while previously serving as two-term member of the Executive Committee of the Aspen Network for Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE). He has been a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Graham received his BA from Colby College, MSc from NYU Wagner, and MBA through a joint program at NYU Stern, London School of Economics and HEC Paris School of Management.
