Caroline Scullin is a senior global strategic communications executive who has raised the profile of smaller organizations in the global arena as well as streamlined communications/outreach operations and targeted messaging for renowned institutions. She has a solid track record of tackling complex, high-profile projects, building highly motivated teams, addressing reputational issues and creating innovative, award-winning outreach solutions.
Scullin served as Senior Vice President for Communications at the Export Import Bank of the United States and previously served as Vice President of External Relations at The Wilson Center, the nation’s key non-partisan policy forum for tackling global issues. Scullin led a broad portfolio of outreach supporting the organization and programs including: press/media, public education and events, digital services (website, social media and outreach), publications and AV support services. She also served as Communications Director for the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), a core institute of the National Endowment for Democracy. Her project management consulting practice ranges from Fortune 100 corporations to international non-governmental organizations. She also spent more than a decade as Chief Aide and Press Secretary to the Honorable Robert C. McFarlane, former National Security Advisor to President Ronald Reagan.
A graduate of Georgetown University, she has been an active volunteer and served as a member of the Board of Governors for the Georgetown University Alumni Association for over a decade. She serves on the Board of Directors of The Center for Justice & Accountability and as Vice Chair of the Board for Concordia.
