Description

Global institutions are scrambling to respond to multiple, overlapping crises, many of which are caused or exacerbated by climate change. To fundamentally solve these problems – rather than settle for incremental improvements – we need to make big bets that attract partners with the capacity to achieve transformational change, which The Rockefeller Foundation has experience in from partnerships with Gavi, PEPFAR, and the Global Fund. Dr. Raj Shah, President, The Rockefeller Foundation will discuss his career making big bets at USAID and The Rockefeller Foundation, where he has launched historic efforts to help end energy poverty while addressing climate change, usher in reforms to help countries in debt distress and increase access to food that is good for people and planet.

The Rockefeller Foundation is a 2023 Concordia Annual Summit Patron Programming Partner.
