There is an increasing demand from consumers to know where their food comes from, how it’s grown, and what ingredients are used. How can retailers be more thoughtful in their approach to support suppliers, the environment, and, at the same time, help people live healthier lives? This session will explore how setting internal standards around sustainable farming methods, transparency in animal welfare, and responsible seafood sourcing can help shape the way consumers shop, and, in turn, raise the bar for an entire industry as the food systems works to become more sustainable.
