Urgent investments into infrastructure of inter-state roads, bridges, and broadband, are needed for the improvement of regional trade in Africa. And, with abundant resources and a growing consumer market, increasing the role of trade in Africa could be transformative to the improvement of lives across the continent. What structural reforms to open up markets will be needed to build up domestic infrastructure and foster trade relations? What partnerships must be built across national boundaries and sectors toward this end? And, will Africa emerge as an economic powerhouse?
