Jean Marco Pou Fernández is a lawyer, business leader, and policy analyst from the Dominican Republic working at the intersection of law, trade, and hemispheric governance. He is a Fellow and Director for Prosperity Countries at Global Americans, a Washington-based think tank, where he focuses on U.S.–Latin America relations, nearshoring, democratic governance, and the evolving geopolitical role of the Caribbean.

He currently serves as Regional Coordinator for the Americas and the Caribbean at the European Business Organization Worldwide Network (EBO), coordinating EuroChambers across the region and advancing public-private dialogue on trade, investment, logistics, and supply chains between Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe. He is also a Partner at Pou & Velázquez Abogados, advising multinational companies and investors on cross-border transactions, international trade, and economic governance.

Previously, he served as President of the EuroChamber of Commerce of the Dominican Republic, leading major initiatives to promote European investment and deepen institutional cooperation with the European Union. His work has been featured in regional and international policy forums, and he is a frequent commentator on hemispheric economic strategy and democratic development.
