Baihas Baghdadi is a Spanish businessman of Syrian origin with a distinguished international career in finance, shaped by deep cultural roots and a global perspective.

With over 30 years of experience, he has held senior positions at leading European institutions, including Arab Bank PLC, Fortis Bank, and Barclays in the United Kingdom. He earned his degree in Economics and Business from the Complutense University of Madrid, holds a Master’s in Finance from FEBF, and completed executive education at Harvard Business School.

He leads Baghdadi Capital, a global independent corporate and investment banking family office. Through its platform of companies, Baghdadi Capital has grown into a multi-billion-dollar specialty finance lender and investor, with capabilities spanning working capital, private debt, private equity, real estate, and financial advisory.

Mr. Baghdadi is also an active philanthropist supporting several initiatives, focused on advancing education initiatives across the Middle East.
