In order to effectively deliver on the sustainable development goals and climate action within the 2030 Agenda in Latin America and the Caribbean, the region must mobilize across a multitude of sectors and commercial industries, implementing stricter environmental protection policies. Without inadvertently slowing economic growth, and as countries continue to urbanize, how can Latin America and the Caribbean transition to resilient and low-carbon economies? How can sustainable policies equally work for the poorest communities who haven't benefited from rapid industrialization?
