Alison Collard de Beaufort (she/her) is a French-American global youth road safety advocate and the founder of the Vision Zero Youth Council (VZYC). The VZYC is a youth-led organization that advocates for meaningful youth engagement and safe, sustainable, and equitable systems of transportation. Alison has created patented technology to keep pedestrians safe and the VZYC has been involved in successfully passing multiple pieces of legislation at the New York State level. She also works with the Vision Zero for Youth initiative at the U.S. National Center for Safe Routes to School. Alison is fluent in four languages, is learning two more, and is currently a student at University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy for her Master’s in Public Policy.
