Kate heads CrossBoundary’s Natural Capital practice, unlocking private capital for climate and nature projects in underserved markets through transaction advisory and investment management services. She led the design and launch of the Fund for Nature, CrossBoundary’s third investment platform focusing on climate impact in emerging markets, which will invest in high-impact nature-based carbon projects across critical ecosystems including the Amazon. Kate co-authored the USAID Carbon Finance Playbook and the COP27 Guidebook for Just Financing. She also co-hosts the podcast, “Solving Climate, Naturally," a cross-disciplinary show dedicated to showcasing natural climate solutions.



Kate previously opened and managed CrossBoundary’s office in Iraq, where she was based. Prior to CrossBoundary, she was based in Istanbul as Chief Operating Officer of Hala Systems, a humanitarian technology company focused on civilian protection in Syria. She started her career consulting on energy and infrastructure projects in emerging markets. Kate holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Economics and International Affairs from Georgia Tech. She is based in London.
