Namibia is on course to become the renewable energy hub of Africa, due in no small part to the policies implemented to create a favorable investment climate, specifically in renewable energy resources. This session will focus on exploring investment and growth opportunities in the development of a green and blue economy. What is the role of multilateralism in the country's efforts to facilitate a green economic recovery plan? What key sectors and technology offer the most potential to complement Namibia’s existing green energy portfolio? And, what are the challenges the country faces in producing renewable energies and, in time, power trading?
