United States Ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Warren A. Stephens was sworn in by President Trump on April 30, 2025. Prior to his ambassadorship, Stephens served as Chairman of Stephens Inc., a privately owned diversified financial services firm headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas. Stephens was named President and Chief Executive Officer in 1986, succeeding his father, Jack Stephens, and was later named Chairman in 2005. Outside of his business, Ambassador Stephens has been heavily involved in the community and has served as chair of the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts Foundation Board, chair of the Episcopal Collegiate School Foundation Board, and co-chair of the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts Capital Campaign with his wife, Harriet C. Stephens. Ambassador Stephens is a former member of the Board of Trustees at Washington and Lee University. Ambassador Stephens earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Washington and Lee University and a Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University. He is married to Harriet C. Stephens and has three adult children.
